In order to scientifically guide the citizens of Shenyang to standardize the wearing of masks and effectively prevent the spread and epidemic of respiratory infectious diseases such as new coronary pneumonia, the Epidemic Prevention and Control Group of the City Command issued the "Guidelines for the Scientific Wearing of Masks by the Public in Shenyang City" in early July. Recently, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, reported a confirmed case of local new coronary pneumonia, and the epidemic has spread to some surrounding provinces and cities. In order to do a good job in the prevention and control of the current epidemic situation, the Epidemic Prevention and Control Team of the Shenyang City Headquarters revised the "Guidelines for the Scientific Wearing of Masks by the Public in Shenyang" based on the actual situation in Shenyang. The general public does not need to wear masks when they are at home, outdoors, in parks, meeting rooms, riding bicycles, or driving by themselves. In most cases, they are still recommended to wear masks.
Keep a distance of more than 1 meter outdoors or in parks without wearing a mask
The "Guidelines" are only applicable to low-risk areas of the new crown pneumonia epidemic (currently 13 districts and counties of our city are low-risk areas), and medium and high-risk areas are still implemented in accordance with the original version of the national "Public Scientific Wearing Mask Guidelines".
Ordinary public living at home, no need to wear a mask;
Outdoors or in parks, it is recommended to carry spare disposable medical masks or medical surgical masks, keep a social safety distance of more than 1 meter, and no masks are required;
You don’t need to wear a mask when taking transportation, riding a bicycle or driving by yourself; when taking public transportation such as buses, subways, coaches, trains, ships, airplanes, etc., wear disposable medical or surgical masks.
At the same time, in the meeting room to ensure effective ventilation, keeping people at a social safety distance of more than 1 meter, the general public does not need to wear masks.
For general public to go to public places, the "Guidelines" suggest that in places such as supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants, exhibition halls/museums, stadiums/gymnasiums, theaters, theaters, underground or relatively closed shopping places, Internet cafes, and elevators, etc., poor ventilation In public places, wear disposable medical masks or surgical surgical masks.
Elementary and junior high school students and teachers do not need to wear masks
The "Guidelines" make recommendations on how to wear masks for people in specific places. The staff in the office premises and workshops do not need to wear masks when they ensure effective ventilation, and the staff in the work positions keep a safe distance of more than 1 meter.
Public place service personnel, such as shops, public transportation, restaurants, canteens, hotels, unit community import and export, corporate front desk and other places working service personnel, it is recommended to wear disposable medical masks or medical surgical masks.
Due to the special physiological characteristics of children, it is not recommended to wear a mask. Teachers, guards, cleaners and canteens of kindergarten institutions should wear disposable medical masks or surgical surgical masks; primary and secondary school personnel should carry spare disposable medical masks or surgical surgical masks. On campus, students and teachers in primary and secondary schools do not need to wear masks; service personnel such as school entry and exit duty personnel, cleaning staff, and canteen staff wear disposable medical masks or surgical surgical masks.
Under the condition of ensuring effective ventilation and keeping a safe distance of more than 1 meter, teachers, staff and students of universities and colleges do not need to wear masks; when closed, crowded or in close contact with others (less than or equal to 1 meter), they need to wear masks; Service personnel such as school entry and exit guards, cleaning staff, and cafeteria staff should wear disposable medical masks or surgical surgical masks.
Infants under 3 years old, do not wear a mask
Hospital attending, visiting or accompanying persons are recommended to wear disposable medical masks or surgical surgical masks. Personnel in nursing homes, welfare homes, prisons and mental health institutions do not need to wear masks; outsiders and service workers wear disposable medical masks or surgical surgical masks.
For key personnel, suspected cases of new coronary pneumonia, confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections, close contacts of new coronary pneumonia, and immigrants (from the beginning of entry to the end of isolation), it is recommended to wear a medical surgical mask or no exhalation valve in line with KN95/N95 and above Level of protective mask. Home quarantine personnel are recommended to wear disposable medical masks or surgical surgical masks, and not to wear masks when alone; those with fever, cough and other symptoms are recommended to wear medical surgical masks or protective masks that meet KN95/N95 level or above without exhalation valve. Patients with severe heart and lung diseases and infants should wear masks under the guidance of a doctor. Infants under 3 years old do not wear masks.
At the same time, the "Guidelines" propose that hand hygiene should be done before wearing and after taking off. Masks that need to be reused should be hung in a clean, dry and ventilated place after use. The spare mask is recommended to be stored in the original packaging bag. If it is not individually packaged, it can be stored in a disposable food bag and ensure that it is not deformed. If you feel chest tightness, shortness of breath and other discomfort while wearing a one disposable mask, you should immediately go to an open place outdoors and remove the mask.
